    I'VE HAD MINE FOR ABOUT 2-3YEARS NOW. I GOT THEM WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT. MINE IS ALSO THE PLASTIC TYPE. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. THEY WORK VERY WELL.
