  1. Design has been around for a while, I originally had one about ten years ago ( they came in a small and large blade size), pretty sure it was called a game skinner back then. It wasn't to bad as a skinner, was good for cleaning any fat ect off skins for tanning, problem was it wouldn't it hold an edge, gave it away and went back to using a staysharp knife for years after
  2. Thats why I like this site, we try and help each other
  3. whichever one you do purchase look for one that has an mem card slot, will make it much easier to change maps, also a mem card will have an increased capacity to store and change the diff maps while out hunting ( shonky to the new dpi maps for example). Best price I could find on a Rino, although I didnt do a long seach http://www.ryda.com.au/Garmin-Rino-650-Handheld-GPS-p/rino650.htm they also list this for the 62s http://www.ryda.com.au/ProductDetails.asp?Click=21519&ProductCode=GPSMAP62S hope this helps
  4. Hi all, Guess Ive been hunting for around 35years now, hunted most of Aus in that time, more a buff, wild bull, porker type of hunter now days with the occasion deer thrown in. Find it a bit more entertaining when the target has a chance at having a chance to give back the luv. This time of year is usually spent hunting wheat crops, nothing like watching the grain part as a big boar go's for a run
