  1. Brother has one, seems to like it, good to find way back to car/camp in new spots. But he would also get lost in a bath tub. Tony
  2. The rain is awesome mate, keep it coming, welcome. Tony
  3. Paddy Find they work great. Had foxes running straight us. Tony
  4. I wear DANNER 8'S, couldnt be happier with them. Tony
  5. Danner 8's are well worth the money. $280AU I think they were, got them from Vic Attard of Wild Boar Australia. I give these boots a flogging last season, held up great. Real good ankle support, come in camo, but great in the waterproof department. Hunted heaps in the rain without getting wet socks. Just give them a good coat of dubbin, good to go!! Tony
  6. check out Danner 8's from Vic Attard of Wild Boar Australia magazine. Good high boot, great ankle support( my ankles are buggered but i have more confidence in these boots). Very light weight, water proof. I wear them two to three times a week, during march/april/may nearly everyday out hunting, no complaints what so ever with them. Tony
  7. I wear Danner8, sold by Vic Attard of wild boar magazine, awesome boot. High ankle support, waterproof & very light weight. Wore them for 8 weeks guiding this year, hunting nearly everyday in very rough country. No splitting or wear at all. Tony
  8. Rick1970 Mate I use the Bushnell Discoverer in 10x42, they are good quality. The only problem i had i was out guiding with clients in the pouring rain, rain got into them( supposed to be waterproof) but sent them back, replaced within a week, no questions asked. I used a set of meopta 10x50, found them a lot better especially in low light & in shadow areas. The meoptas are around the $1100, bushnells were $650. That is the only problem ive had with any bushnell equipment. I use their scope, rangefinder, spotting scope, trail camera all good stuff. But i will lean towards the meopta for clarity in low light. Tony
