I've got a markhor 65+10 pack. I've had it about 12 months and happy with it. I got it for 200 on sale and well worth a look at if it's the style your after. I have camped for 4 nights in the snow and had enough room for all the gear.

Ive got a markhor pack. 65 +10. Seems to be good. Clayton firearms had a good special on them when I got mine. Definitely worth thinking about anyway.

I have a all-rounder jacket also. I got it a few years ago before they went to the current camp pattern. I have just recently go a new long sleeve top, the pivotal I think it is. Seems OK but have not really tested it yet.

Where abouts did you source it from. I was looking at them last night. Look the goods in there video's.

Thanks wl. It's hard as I have not tried on the black wolf ones yet but leaning towards them. Will try before I buy though. Most of my hunting is day trips on the reds but as I want to get back into the sambar I have to travel so want to make the most of the time there and get into some good areas. I will still do camping at the 4x4 but want to be geared up to get in for a few nights. I'd be thinking 3 nights is what I'm aiming for. Thanks. Will do. Starting from scratch with the hiking gear could add up I'm thinking.

Thought I'd add to this post. I'm looking to have a go at backpack hunting next year also. I've done a fair bit of hunting just never backpacking. I have all my hunting gear and vehicle based camping but need to build up supplies for hiking in camping. Had a look at packs tonight, does anyone have the caribee pulse 80l pack. The other I've liked was black wolf mountain ash 75l. Done a lot of searching on here and have a start to look for some mats and tents ect

Darche all the way i recon. Had on 12 mine 13 years now and still no worries. i got the double and its great. Also got a cheapie from aussie disposals a while back and i must say its not too bad either. Been in the rain and has not leaked yet.

Hey guys im after some advise for a new light. Ive searched a heap of post about the gun mounted light. Now what im after is a general torch and also i want to be able to mount it on my mountain bike for night rides. Ive seen people are happy with the cree and ultra fire. he price looks good too. Now what in after is a bit of a spread not just a beam. So what model should i go for. Thanks

@00 hundred ill have to check that out cos the best ive found so far is 400. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 60cx and the 60csx model. On price its about 30 buck but in not sure other wise.

Hey guys, Im after a bit on info on what handheld i should get. Ive used a garmin etrex before so was thinking garmin again. I see bcf have the garmin 78 model for a fair price at the moment .It talks about being a marine model but can not see how they are that different. What else should i look for. Will de used mostly for deer hunting and also bushwalking for total distance travelled and of caurse the quick track home. Dont want to spend much more than 300 bucks.. cheers
