  1. Depending of course,. There is a place for this stuff, perhaps not for super duper serious hunntin fellas . The 30ltr would make a great day pack, providing the pack got out into a sewing Lady for $10 an had it stitched up too scratch. My Blackwolf pack is next level up but also about $200 more,. Then Exos an the like are next level again at $600. Should look good sitting next to a sleeping Stag I'd assume ? Hardest part was picking the colour scheme ha
  2. I'm moving On . It was a gutting feeling however.

  11. ha ha classic. Dont ever go to Myrtleford then! you'l never shoot another Bambi again! the tahr takes one to amazing places though
  12. mavern comparing swaro is a little apple orange brother, you didnt mention theres $$2500 difference between the two how much more did you need too see an at what extra cost per minute of glassing work in the field- only to raise a scope that was out of use 5 minutes ago in terms of identification , clarity and focus..? imo its good to have a ok set of binos with a bit better scope on the rifle , example kind of goes along the lines of sit wait hunting an the mob dont come out until just before dark , its cool to use the binos to locate the noises in the scrub an pin point whee they may come out, the in those final moments of light you are better off set up behind the rifle scope incase that stag does come out or if he doesnt you might take the hind today? last arvo hunt of the trip. etc anything 10x40 range is guna be fairly adequate for most cases of game hunting an day to day looking at stuff
  13. that sounds like a good starter day pack for sure ben!
  14. I used a SHV day pack for a while,. It's a soft bag with no inner structure but a handy centre that's open for stashing jumper etc but minimal area to safely store items like range finder knifes etc. Good for day use with minimal gadgets , a Sanga an some water etc. Prior to that I used what would effectively be known as a backpack or school backpack, $ cheap as chips from Target etc Don't waste time on the hero brands of shit out there,. Keep it simple , take advice on board but remember you got elitist elites on board but also budget diggers ... More often it's the budget diggers bringing home the bacons.. Keep it simple.

  19. As per distance claims, even my Redfield doesnt do 600 very often... good days get 500. Realistically , 300+ is a long way an needs more than a range finder to poke game with. The rangeys just help to know weather you are in range or out of range.. if out then how far to get in range Having one helps your eye without one when guessing distance after a while. Will be keen to hear how Aldi goes on its claim fellas
