  1. go for the 220, a few of the boys in my hound crew have the 320 and they chew through the batteries, the range of the 320 is not as good as the 220 either. I can only speak about my experience with them, there might be other guys who have had a better experience with them.
  2. i have this torch and a mate has one of the led lenser pe-7, and mine sheets all over it!
  3. i bought it from a shop just down the road from me that used to stock hunting clothing. you can get it from http://www.caoutdoors.com.au/?stg=299 Cheers
  4. i bought one of the hunters element jackets, the aspiring jacket, hands down the best jacket i have owned, its light enough to put in the pack and have worn it in the pissing rain and snow and have not got wet or cold. Breaths quite well also.
  5. I have this pack and i reckon its the bees knees. Has plenty of pockets, heaps of room for a jacket. The feature i like the most is that the compartments are big enough so that you van have ammo, knives in one pocket all your maps gps in another and food in another pocket. It also has a 3l compartment http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/Hunting-Bags-Packs|/pc/104791680/c/104392080/CamelBak-TriZip-XT-Hydration-Pack/1226589.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fhunting-hunting-bags-packs%2Fcamelbak%2F_%2FN-1105017%2B1000002991%2FNe-1000002991%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BMMcat104791680%26WTz_st%3DGuidedNav%26WTz_stype%3DGNU&WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104791680%3Bcat104392080
  6. i was wondering what you guys do to your boots when you buy a new pair, I recently bought a pair of irish setter tamaracks, they say they are water proof but does any one put a water proofer on the leather just to ensure that they are. Will it damage the boot by putting on the water proofer on areas that have gor-tex on them.
  7. hey guys i was wondering what you all use for breaking down game in the field and also when you get home? i am in the market for a knife set (skinning, boning, steel, butchers knife), but am wondering what brands to go for? i have been told by a few people about tramontina knives. They are a bit cheaper than a few other brands but what are they like for quality? i want to get a little set together, but i can not find any knife rolls to fit all of them in. i look forward to hearing your comments
