  1. ahk that makes more sense... although based on the reviews of the last product they say there is a "scan" feature which detects ordinary objects. comments?
  2. yeh thats what i figured... would never use it at night anyway as i wouldnt really take shots over 200m where a range finder isnt really necessary. Just have to work out which cheapy is the best
  3. Was thinking of the advantages of having a rangefinder while hunting but not that keen to cough up a couple of hundred $$$. I found a few cheap ones online and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them or similar models and if they work at all/ are effective for hunting? http://www.dealextreme.com/p/digital-5x20-golf-range-finder-scope-with-carrying-case-28772 http://www.dealextreme.com/p/digital-7x-golf-range-finder-scope-with-carrying-case-2-cr2032-26011 http://srx.au.ebayrtm.com/clk?RtmClk&m=149023&ch=1&g=f5e9627612f0a5a9437138f1ff5a4c4f&i=0π=3286&iid=633192399348840175&pn=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fstat.dealtime.com%2FDealFrame%2FDealFrame.cmp%3Fbm%3D121%26BEFID%3D96322%26aon%3D%255E%26MerchantID%3D482092%26crawler_id%3D482092%26dealId%3DzKBdTur6eBN8OpEIi9hNVg%253D%253D%26url%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Ftracking.searchmarketing.com%252Fclick.asp%253Faid%253D683955608%2526%26linkin_id%3D8029070%26Issdt%3D110614012123%26searchID%3Dp3.a3c73c4b2e484a4409f7%26DealName%3D7X%2B28mm%2BMicro%2BElectronic%2BGolf%2BRange%2BFinder%2B%252F%2BScope%26dlprc%3D25.4%26crn%3D%26istrsmrc%3D0%26isathrsl%3D0%26AR%3D1%26NG%3D2%26NDP%3D5%26PN%3D1%26ST%3D7%26DB%3Dsdcprod%26MT%3Dphx-peks12%26FPT%3DDSP%26NDS%3D%26NMS%3D%26MRS%3D%26PD%3D%26brnId%3D14743%26IsFtr%3D0%26IsSmart%3D0%26DMT%3D%26op%3D149023%26CM%3D%26DlLng%3D1%26RR%3D2%26cid%3D%26semid1%3D%26semid2%3D%26IsLps%3D0%26CC%3D0%26SL%3D0%26FS%3D0%26code%3D%26acode%3D%26category%3D%26HasLink%3D%26frameId%3D%26ND%3D%26MN%3D%26PT%3D%26prjID%3D%26GR%3D%26lnkId%3D%26VK%3D&rk=2&cpc=0.43&id=149023

  5. Hey stalker how do the supercheap auto $40 spotties compare to the lightforce etc?? Like how far do the beams reach etc... Cheers
  6. cheers mate that what I want to hear! will probs be ordering tonight
  7. I am looking at purchasing my first gun safe, looking for something that can store around 4-5 guns but would rather not waste money on something my guns are gonna be sitting in and put the money to better use on optics etc. just wondering what is out there and for how much? Is there a major disadvantage to cheaper safes? This is one I found on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-5-GUN-RIFLE-SAFE-GUNSAFE-FIREARM-DIGITAL-LOCK-/120597887279?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Hunting&hash=item1c1431b92f#ht_3822wt_1137 looks pretty good and I could use a cleaning kit. I live in sydney if that helps in terms of postage/stores. Cheers Brezzo
