  1. You could buy a bar dehumidifier. They work by raising the temperature inside by a couple of degrees which in turn dries out the air inside the safe. I have one in my safe and they work great! All military safes have a couple of big ones too! One similar to this should be more than sufficient for most normal size gun safes: http://cgi.ebay.com/GOLDENROD-GUNSAVER-DEHUMIDIFIER-12-PROTECTS-100-CUB-FT-/300479884009?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45f5ff2ae9
  2. not sure exactly mate. I have seen a COAST P7 and it wasn't quite as powerful as the LED LENSER one. Maybe 10-15% light reduction. Both with brand new batteries. I could only guess that it would be similar with the X21... Not sure though
  3. woody, great deal for sure. But be careful with the title, it says COAST. Which is not quite as good as the regular X21 from LED LENSER. just be careful mate.
  4. Hi mate, nope use the p7 under my rifle with the mount and switch. But I also have a P14! Cause you never know when you'll need one! P7 is good out to about 100 metres for shooting with the scope. Anything more and its not ideal. You can see 150m+ for sure but I'd rather someone put the P14 or X21 onto the critter for that! I just love the LED LENSER torches so much I had to get all the great ones! If you get an X21 there is no way in hell you could be disappointed!
  5. FYI http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160489826389&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT Got one from this seller, he is very good! shipped quickly,no hassles whatsoever. Went into LGS's before I went to ebay and they were all quoting about $550 plus they would have to order it in so would take a week anyway. Took overnight from this guy.... VERY amazing piece of kit. I also have the P7 (and a p14 ) slung under my walkaround rifle and in conjunction they are deadly! Look around and you can get a great deal! Happy hunting Edit, typo's
  6. Hi mate, in the Army we dont worry about protection. Probably not the best idea, but its similar to hunting where you have to be able to hear the animals (enemy). One shot once or twice a day isn't gonna kill your hearing. But I would wear them for sure at a range when sighting in or trying new loads. Overall it comes down to whether you want comfort for the hours of not shooting and a bit of ringing for a minute after the shot or no ringing and discomfort with big earmuffs. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi Guys, Tassie born and Bred. Hunting since young, getting a bit more serious now as I actually have some money! Experienced handloader, shot a bit around the world, hope I can help out.
