270, for $45 for an entire torch setup including batteries, charger, adaptor, torch and scope mount, you really can't go wrong with the UltraFire WF008 off Deal Extreme. I'll be giving it a serious trial on the rifle over the next few months. if I'm not totally impressed, I'll simply pick up another one and use this one as a backup. Win win really. On another note guys, does the Deal Extreme delivery come via courier requiring signature at door? Or will it be via standard post (leaves it at door step or drops it at local Post Office with a come collect note left in letter box)?

Jeez I'm an idiot lol. I just had another look, it says "ships in 2 - 4 working days"... For some reason I must have thought this meant shipped to my door in 2 - 4 working days. I do remember thinking that was bloody quick, but must be coming from a country close to Australia.

Ahhh bugger, that is a problem... Maybe I should have gone with the P7 Lenser off Ebay then. My own fault for taking so long, plus I should have read the delivery times part of the website. I can swear I read 1 - 3 working days? Must mean to US residents or something.

Hmmm, I didn't think it would be this long... Kinda needed the torch for a weekend trip coming up. Ordered them Tuesday morning, hopefully 9 working days is enough to get the stuff..!

Yup, looking forward to it. Should be here around the end of the week. I'll give it a try on my .243 pump attached via the velcro mount to the scope, although somehow I don't think the cheapo velcro is going to cope very well with the recoil.

Just ordered the UltraFire WF008 off deal extreme along with all the suggested bits that were recommended earlier. For $45 including shipping, can't really complain now can you?! I shall let you know how it goes, but from all accounts off this website and the user reviews off deal extreme, the torch looks to be quite good.

^ Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll order one of these today. Out of interest, how do people find these compare with the LED Lenser P7? A mate of mine has a Wolfeyes of some sort, small portable, puts out some serious light. He did pay $160 for it about a year ago though.

Is the Deal Extreme torch mount for the UltraFire WF008 any good? Anyone have much experience with one when attached to the top of their scope/barrel? I am quite interested in the Ultrafire WF008 with the 18650 batteries, charger and adaptor. How does everyone find it performs? I'll most likely be attaching it to the scope on my 243.

A mate just got a pair, worth there weight in gold if you ask me! You can actually drop your voice and still hear your mate 20 meters or further away. I'll be getting a pair soon!
