How did you go...or are you still waiting for delivery? I have a question or two. I am looking at ordering the same Pro-1 head L2T body combo and am wondering if it comes with a drop in LED module? Seems like it doesn't. I would prefer a CREE XR-E (WC-R2) LED with a smooth reflector however did not see one listed on its own. Will probably also get a drop in to use as a general purpose torch with the L2T head when its not mounted. I assume the same size drop-ins work with both heads? Thanks. Ian.

I have found Scarpa Trek Pros to be fantastic. I had no real choice as they were the only ones I could find in my size. US-15. They aren't lined with gore tex like the ones adzym mentioned but are full leather. A bit pricey at a little over $300 locally, but have been worth it for me. I only wore them around the house for a few hours before my first trip and there were no blisters to speak of and dry feet too! They are a little on the heavy side though.
