  1. Just bought the Garmin Montana 650 t from Direct Uhf .com.au for $589, great price I thought.
  2. Eagle Optics - US site. With the dollar going up at the moment it may be worth waiting a little while.
  3. Another vote for the Miendls, contouring for 2 kays around a steep hill will tell you whether you spent your money wisely, unfortunately you only find out after you have parted with your hard earned.
  4. Black Bear, any experience with the new Kahles 8X42 Bino's - if you have, how about a review??
  5. Yep Rono's correct, Canon S3 IS, 12 X optical, 6 Meg, anti vibration (or whatever its called) and movies as well. On special at Hardly Normals for $430 last week. I am very happy with mine. I saw the other day a new camera out 18 X optical, 8 Meg, anti vib and all the other gear for $799, I cant remember the brand though - plenty of em out there mate, do your research and you will be right. P.S. Happy birthday Rono.
  6. Welcome to the forum Micheal, heaps to learn here and feel free to contribute your ideas and opinions as well.
  7. Hey Gryph, how is the battery life, are you happy enough?? I am still on my first set of disposable batteries, so it seems OK to me.
  8. Dont forget Gerber.
  9. Garmin Geko 201, I'm the same. I just mark the car and turn it off, if I get a bit geographically embarresed i turn it on for a little guidance. You save on batteries that way too.
  10. Drew, I just found the new Aussie distributor, Abbey Archery in Sydney. They should have their first consignment in about 4 weeks. ASAT_RRP_Price.pdf
  11. Yeah Mick, thats pretty bloody good!
  12. Hey Mick, Where did you get it from? Im struggling to find a supplier? Do you wear the 2D or the 3D?
  13. Has anyone got any ASAT camo or has any one seen it in the flesh, I saw it on another website and it definitely got me interested. Anyone had any experience with it.? What do you think? I might have to chase some down and give it a go.
  14. Hey Rono, The boots are great mate. I have only worn them a couple of times up in the hills so they are still pretty stiff, but the support and strength they give is exellent. I got my foot stuck going down a steep pinch and couldnt stop myself from still going downhill. I thought I was gunna break an ankle or leg but the boots just stopped me where I was. A bit sore afterwards but nowhere as bad as it could have been. I think they will probably take a season to fully wear in and get really comfy, but hey i will probably have them for 10 or 15 years so theres no hurry. Cheers Slinger
