  1. Yeah possible. Not that I know much about the topic... My FoxPro works so i'm happy. Best of luck with it P Mac let us know how it goes.
  2. I dare say that if both our sounds come from Fox Pro then they are the same.
  3. They still have to eat but I find at this time I have more success with the mating calls on the fox pro. It took me a few months to get used to using the Fox Pro opposed to a whistle. You say that you have Foxes or Cats coming to the same hide after using the Fox Pro, Maybe they are coming from a long distance and it just happens that the Fox Pro got them coming and they make it to where you can see them after that 15 or 20 Mins ? Also for example there is no use using say a Rabbit or Hare call when there are no Hares or Rabbits on the property... I have had Great luck with all the calls you mentioned. Hope some of this helps.
  4. Hey mate, Good work having a crack at doing it yourself. I'm also an owner of a FoxPro and they do work well. I hope you get the crinkles ironed out and get it working how you want. At the end of the day its the sounds you play that make it work.
  5. Thanks for the Feedback guys. Yeah Suction and Magnet are no good for me, some of my mates have roof racks and things that can get in the way and I want to be able to use it on their cars too. I actually went to Holts today and Brought a setup just like yours Cammo. Already have the Lightforce SL170 to go with it and also found Holts to be the cheapest after going to 3 different gun shops in 3 different towns. Geese they have a heap of stuff in there i spent 20mins just looking around wishing a had a couple of thousand to spend. Anyway ill give some feedback when I get to use it next weekend.
  6. Cheers mate. Yeah roof mount isn't an option at the moment.
  7. Cheers mate. Does reflection off of the front window a problem with it mounted in that way ?
  8. Had a search around bit couldn't find what info I was after. Who currently uses or has used in the past a window mount spottie ? What are the good and bad points of using one ?? I'm not interested in suction cap/magnet ones.
  9. Yeah as Optic said its been covered extensivly on here in a number of posts. Have a search all the questions you have asked have been answered before. I use a jet beam m2s 1000lm on a lanyard for spotting and a wf008 mounted.

    Machetes

Cold Steel stuff is pretty awesome ..
  11. I believe Foxes are Red and green color blind.
  12. I would say the Ultrafire WF 008 is the best "bang for ya buck." I got mine for $12 (brought 2.) I use the Ultrafire mounted and Jetbeam M2S 1000 Lumens for spotting. The Jetbeam Lanyard is also handy so you can just drop the torch and change to the mounted one.
  13. I have a Lightforce SL170 Striker. You can adjust the beam to have flood or spot. Heaps powerful enough for Fox Rabbit Roos, anything...
  14. Hey, I'm from down the coast. Have been shooting like allot of people since I was a kid. Cheers.
