  1. Thats ambitious, perhaps hunting hay bales (practice and more practice) is the place to start.
  2. T20..$20 on ebay,yes for $20 or a couple of bucks more.
  3. How many ten buck foxes will pay that one off?
  4. PLB`s are fantastic if you use them. The fellow in the article from 2015 carried one but didn't activate it as was to be found out later. https://www.themorningbulletin.com.au/news/Extreme-Northern-Territory-heat-killed-CQ-hunter/2834231/ Another fellow hunting with PM broke his leg a few years ago and the PLB was kicked into gear and a chopper found them and winched the bloke out of some rough country. http://www.budjik.com/equipment/beacons/plb/kti-safety-alert-plb-with-free-pouch.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwkpfWBRDZARIsAAfeXarYD5-Lit_fEVgZfvd29wVXV_00YwMkHIiv3lCvmRCfR-tOVy20eioaAnQMEALw_wcB
  5. I like the buffalo skinner pattern
  6. How does it hold up in heavy blackberry hunting?
  7. Whatever you use it is important to NOT use oil on a whetstone, use water instead. If you have running water over the stone while you are using it you will not have the stones pores being clogged with filings and stone particles as you do when using oil . If no running water rinse frequently. Oil WILL turn your stone into a slick with clogged pores it simply pastes it in until you may as well rub your knife on a raincoat. Yet they persist in calling them oilstones! BTW Gerber knives have a very hard steel in the also.
  8. Swaro 10x42 RF model on UG`s atm for 3 grand,a good price too!
  9. And barron that indeed is a truly valid point to make.
  10. You cant hold the spotlight out of the front windows for long as they only go 1/2 way down..true!
  11. Quality scopes eat lesser grade scopes..simple and if one has used both ends of the scale its Landcruiser V Lada Niva Ditto for bino`s I really have seen blokes prepare to pull the pin because 'you cant see anymore'..yeah right try these then...aaaaaahhhh! But! ...there is always a but, el cheapo`s are far better than nothing but the naked eye and as you get older your eyes get poorer hence the big difference in vision with the Landcruiser models.
  12. But you will find far more game with binos with much more ease and far less eye strain. Finding much more game equates to more in the bag.
  13. I like the tens, they wring just a bit more ID out of them than 7`s-8`s etc. It is important to have a decent sized objective lens too. Shitty little 10 x 25 are useless at the important starts and ends of the day,the 10x is ok but the little lenses are terrible in the evenings.
  14. happy to spend around $1500 Another $300 will get you 10 x 42 Swarovski`s
  15. Theres more species in and around the Otways, including hoggies.
  16. They will be monitoring your FB page next lol!
  17. A great bag to keep in the ute imo. http://www.impacttrading.com.au/shop/item/usa-military-issued-sleeping-system
  18. I found out the hard way and lost chances at preaching and wallowing stags going on the sign when the cards were picked up. I picked up four new cards today that will be marked cam 1,cam 2 so there are no mistakes and hopefully it will be a fix.
  19. Got two,not much good as the flashes are so bright that they white out the subjects. Best off taping up some of the LEDS. Make sure that you ONLY use cards for that one camera, dont swap between cameras, not even another stealth cam as you will end up with BLACK pics
  20. hopefull how long did they take to replace it? I ask as the cameras sell out straight away and its tough getting one if you are not in the queue first up.
  21. I saw you sooking up in the `gatta when you left early......say no more, I rest my case, BT

Tarzan? Not even close,i`m a skinny runt of a thing and I`m balltearer because i kicked a football that split one day in a match.
