i bought my gps from J.A.P....very helpfull and patient staff and the best price around...i don't have one of those though, but looks like a cheap investment for peace of mind...will get one, but i'm going to get the digital one...otherwise you'll have to replace it in a year or two..not alot extra, smaller lightweight, for bushwalking...won't walk far if a taipan bites you and those things might be your only option for survival in some areas, given that the system replacing CDMA dose'nt work.

Does anyone own, or use, or has used night vision binoculars, monocular, scope etc?...would you consider it a usefull device, worthwhile investment?...or, just another crappy gadget to cart around that you never use?

looking at buying a new leatherman or pocket multi tool, or same type of thing different brands...seen some nice gerber ones also...confused as to which model i should get...which one do you have?...what's usefull about it?...which one should i buy?....thanks in advance for advice
