  1. I was told on my first outing I needed to walk up and down in water and keep them wet as long as possible, also they needed to dry on the feet. Did that and for 10 odd years they were perfect. Actually I think I still have them in the garage, might find them and post a photo.
  2. I must be totally out of fashion and a cheap skate. I buy most of my needs, boots, socks, odds and ends at Aussie Disposals. In the seventies I was told by a friend to buy the surplus boots, GP, Australian Army. Whatever they are made from, they lasted for so many years. Trapped all over Booligal, Hay, Strzelecki ranges, and further into northern NSW. From memory and this goes back a while I paid under $50.00. Went back some 10 years later, still had army surplus boots, (different from previous) well under $100 (don't know exactly) will never buy anything else. Not much the store does not sell and no crazy prices, no fancy labels.
  3. Hi, a fellow shooter who has more pistols than rifles. I only own one .223 but own several pistols and frequently am involved with matches locally and nationally. I hunt with my son occasionally, (more frequently in the past) but am unable to convert him to pistol shooting, lol. A very long time shooter in various disciplines and still love my .223.
