  1. These guys had a bit of a chat about lights;
  2. Looking very functional Col. Well done.
  3. Thanks heaps for that Matt. That is exactly what I needed. I was planning on calling into their shop to check measurements but you have just saved me a trip! It looks like good gear, I am sure you will get a lot of use out of it all. I did buy some of their Gators back a while ago and am pretty happy with them so far.
  4. Hey Matt, Thanks for sharing. Would you mind providing a picture of the back/mounting configuration of the GPS pouch (ideally with a ruler against the strap)? I have a Badlands bino case that I am pretty happy with but looking for a GPS pouch that will attach to the side of it the same way its mounted in your picture. Is it fastened with velcro or push stud/button? I have the Garmin 64S the same as you and appears to fit in that pouch no worries. How noisy is the zip?
  5. Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear they are holding up well. I got some Ridgeline stuff back a while ago, got the lightweight pants but they tore in blackberries in the first few hunts so just went back to cotton army style pants. Thinking about another set of good gear but will sit back and see what others are saying first.
  6. What are your thoughts on the HE gear now that you have had it for a while?
  7. Hey Duncs, Sorry for my tardy reply. Thanks for the offer, i ended up buying some off ebay that were cheaper and free delivery. Was some 4WD centre if memory serves me.
  8. Hey all, Anyone got a good reference/suggestion on an online store to buy the Rooftop Maps. I was about to place an order from Melbourne Map Center, got the checkout before they decided to put $22 for delivery out to east Gippsland. Thought that was a little steep given the size of the package.
  9. Hahaha very nice pack. Might be a little noisy for stalking though, however your hunting style means stealth is not something you are looking for anyway.
  10. Got a Berghaus Military Vulcan 100Ltr. An awesome pack but ive misplaced the removable side pouches somewhere in my many house moves.
  11. Hey Scott, Welcome mate. Relatively new myself. One of the first questions I asked was where were all the reports? Guessing you would be keen on the sambar? Search "wonnangatta" there are a few there. Enjoy mate.
  12. Hey Verminator, did you get this issue sorted? I have just got a Garmin and interested to know what the solution was.
  13. Thats interesting, thanks for that. I had not thought about the wolf eyes. Will check it out.
  14. Anyone have any comment on the Ledlenser lights? The P7 or P10 look like good options, not sure if they will mount easy or not but I like the power and battery life not to mention 7 year warranty.
  15. Gday All, Joining this site to learn a bit more and get some good leeds on tried and tested equipment. All in an effort to fill to the toolkit and make my time in the Victorian bush that little bit more enjoyable. Cheers, Konrad.
