thx guys, wrote down the brands mentioned and went looking. ended up geting a pair of columbia that were realy comfy and light, with a very agresive and gripy sole patern which is a must as griph mentioned. tried them on and walked around the shop for a while and at work for a couple of hours and they seem great. now i just need to test them in the bush.
yea, i boght all els os, but must try boots on to buy. but ive still got it wrong before!!!ei: slightly too big , not water proof, etc.
i might go out this week and get some so i can walk them in.
i'm updating all my gear for sambar hunting and ive gone and got new pants gaiters tops and jaket but not sure what type of or brand of boots to get. i know they must be water proof/resistant and not too high or too bulky. ive made some bad choices with boots in the past and i find it hard to choose the right ones.
what do you guys recomend?

it's the smaller version, so thers very little crap in there that i don't need.
g'day guys, i'm new to this forum but been chekin it out a wile now and have also submited a picture of my dog bobby under hunting dogs. been out only once this year 4 quail and only found one which i got with my second barrel. now there is none. i'll be goin to some new areas to find more this week. also love to hunt hairs and samber.
