Hi, although not on this site that often, i do pop in from time to time to have a look. 25 from victoria and do a reasonable amount of shooting ( not as much as i would like).

One of the main problems i come up against is that most boot makers cut out at a size 12, where i need a size 13. In recent times i have tryed rays tent city, rivers, and snowgum with only snowgum being able to offer me one choice that were out of my budget.

be careful, the stuff i have got is warm when you are standing still, but as soon as i start going up hill the heat is on. I wouldnt mind a bit lighter gear, as you can always put more on underneath.

Whats the point of looking at wild deer in the dark?

I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which are the best walking boots for use in the victorian high country this winter. I would like to spend a max of around $250. Will be intrested to hear what you recomend. cheers, Brian

two diffrent types of camo here. one old one new, ned (laying down taking photo) recons with the new stuff the anmials can see you but cant work out what you are.
