on foot LF 170, LF dimmer kit and a surply canvas bag. a few SLA and a smart charger and you are sorted. You can use the scope mount kit or use the bulkhead mount and a handheld. there was a pic here of it recently. Or you can try and re-invent the wheel again if you want but it's already been done, Powa beam also make a dimmer AFIR later p

one thing you might want to try wityh the filters is to drill some holes in the filter to let more of the white light through. Don't go crazy just a few round the edge and one near the middle but not directly in the center lets a whole lot more white light throuhg but and gives you a much better circle of light to aim with through the scope. just got a set of Dexter russels a few days ago Got a filleter and a butchers and a steel all to go in a roll up under the seat. Haven't used them in the field yet but the filleter shaved from new out of the box and the buthcher was majic dressing the steaks last night. Easy to handle with butcher grade sealed grips too.
