  1. Mate I reckon you should contact the dealer you got it from and see if they are prepared to replace it, might be a bad batch. Also wouldnt hurt to send an email to Buck Knives directly to see if they have recieved similar complaints, buck knives are normally really good quality and they are not cheap. I would expect the coating on a quality hunting knife to be more robust.
  2. thanks for posting that info SODRAT i have a similar spotty and have been trying to come up with a way of mounting it to a scope for ages, im going to get one of those setups and give it a try. thanks mate Geoffro
  3. Ridgeline camo pack is the go, very good value $120 from gun shop in queensland ( look in the shooting mags for the ad ) and very quite in the bush. I used to use auscam but it is very noisy when brushing past bushes and not water repellant
  4. no not really, its light weight and breaths really well, also the pants are waterproof, check out page 37 in the may sporting shooter mag for a picture, its rrp is $169 but cleaver firearms in QLD are selling it for $99 plus postage, page59 guns & game mag
  5. the new ridgeline camo hunters pack is good value for money and it is made from micro fleece which is silent in the bush, i used to wear auscam ex military clothing but found the cotton pants make loud scratching noise when bushing past bushes
