Coming from a photography back ground, mainly sports photography, It takes a lot more than just 8 frames per second to get half decent actions shot. You'll need to learn how to full control the camera out of Auto mode, something that a lot of people aren't willing to do. Personally these days you can get away with buying a high level point and shoot camera and get great action photos.

Well said DJ. Not sure about anyone else but made me chuckle. Back to the topic of Gaitors. I was walking the pups out in the bush he other day and seen a nice size brown snake which got me wondering. When ever I'm out and about (well 75% of the time) I'm wearing my cowboy boots with jeans of the top of them. A mate and myself got on talking and I mentioned I had thought about a buy of gators just to be on the safe side when I'm out by myself. But he seem to think I should be fairly right because my boots come up about a third of the way to my knee and most bites happening in that area. Now would my by boots be enough to stop fangs coming through? Or would a snake be able to get through them pretty easy?

I have the standard RM belt. Cost me about 80 bucks but I reckon it'll probs last me at least 20+ yrs unless I loose it.

G'Day fella's I'm 16 yr stumpy from adelaide. I do most of my shooting in the north west of vic. shooting rabbits, hares, foxes and anything else that run past me. I currently have a .22 rimfire and a s/s 12 gauge. Been shooting for the last year or so but i only get to shoot when I'm at my dads in vic. Hoping to learn more about hunting on here. Cheers, Stumpy
