  1. Is it worth adding me as a friend?

  2. The link below is for Wes components at Ashfield. Find the battery you want and give them a ring. They are helpful and will be a lot cheaper that sourcing one from any Aussie Outfitter. Link to Wes components PDF for batteries.
  3. I know that they work via a RF to GPS receiver but as I understand it the frequencies they use are actually licensed to something else in Aus. What I was trying to work out was, is there any chance of getting this unit into Aus?
  4. I have wondered the same thing. I am really keen to get my hands on this. link to GPS tracking collar
  5. I always carry an emergency poncho, a clear plastic one that goes over my Realtree Hardwood camo. So you have the best of both worlds, dry and still hidden to your game. Gun fits up underneath and only the tip of the barrel gets wet. I use stainless hunting rifles so a little rain on the muzzle is no issue. I used it on Saturday when hunting and stayed nice and dry.
  6. Just been on a hunting trip to NZ with a Plano Reinforced plastic hardcase. It holds two guns and is damn light in comparison to my metal dual gun cases. Rock solid and my .243 stayed on zero even after the return trip. About $100 at Cost price. Suppose you'd get one for about 120'ish.
  7. Thanks for the help. After a little consideration I think I´m going to purchase a Tracker product.
  8. Perhaps my first post did not contain the correct wording as pointed out by bob. I am looking for a reputable dealer of dog tracking collars within australia. I have one dog at the moment and at most would be requiring a second trackable collar. My reason for needing this is to conform to my R licence requisite of requiring tracking collars for my hunting dogs. I hope that I have clarified it for you bob.
  9. Looking for a little advice. Looking for a cheap 1 - 2 dog tracking system to conform to the R licence regulations. Its for my Ridgeback, who´s got a great nose but slack to call back in the thick scrub. Any websites or shops that anyone could point me towards? Thanks in advance, Geeza..
