  1. And I think its nearly that time of year again, and I know the perfect place for it this year.
  2. here it is http://www.aushunt.com.au/Forum/index.php?showtopic=3566
  3. Theres acually a post on here somewhere that tells u how to make one, Ive made a couple. I will see if I can find it. I have most of my luck with the button and if that doesnt work I use a tenterfield. It all depends on the night sometimes they wont react to any whistle and I have like 5 different ones. I even have an app for my iphone that I always seem to forget about when out in the field, hopefully I'll remember to give it a try this weekend on the farm.
  4. The Bombala is a whistle made from the brass of 2 shotgun shells, I bought one and havent had any luck with it. He claims its his design
  5. LOL Dont worry about dann81 mate its that old bugger sneaky u have to watch out for. He'll sneak around the back door any chance he gets.
  6. Saves cutting a hole in the roof and it works as good as any roof mount Ive tried
  7. But yourself a Eagletac T100C2 mk2 awesome light for bunnies and foxes and its under $80 with 2 batteries, charger and scope mount from US. Best light Ive ever used, actually its the only LED Ive used but it works that good I have no need to try any others.
  8. I have the Eagletac and reakon its the BEST thing I have bought fo my night shooting outfit. I bought it last year from the same site as above and as said the gave great service. I havent tried any other brand and have no need to when this little torch is so good. With light, 2 batteries, charger ,mount and postage I paid $71. I will post some pics when I get me PC back from being repaired and show the number of bunnies that have been taken useing the Eagletac in the last few weeks. (PC been down since before xmas and still not repaired)
  9. A mates old man used to operate a HAM radio with the huge antena on the roof of the house and he had to have a licence.
  10. Youngins these days No respect Remember I know where you live pal, dont make me come around there and give you a clip around the ear hole.
  11. Yeah maybe, but then im nearly 40 and I still play online clan matches (Enemy Territory)
  12. I remember when all those suburbs didnt exist and the whole area was bush. Quins was a tiny town that no one ever went to unless you went for a fish. Gees I used to shoot bunnies up around that area up to pipidiny back in the day. Welcome aboard fellow Sandgropers
  13. My mate has a Powerbeam and yes it is brighter and puts out a longer beam. But it doesnt have a handle and is extremely heavy and cant be used other than on the window mount. My 240 can be used any way I like all I need is the different assesories for different uses. And why buy mounts when they are so easy to make.
  14. I work for the company that owns the foundry in Wundowie.
