What's wrong with a map and compass linked to the Eyeball MK1.
I always take a map, compass and pen when I'm out. But a GPS is a level above so I always take one of them too. Always knowing where you are is handy

fair enough.
some guys like them as they can see where each other are within about a 5km range. i think you have to talk or press the talk button every so often to keep updating your location? i can see why multiple hunters in an area might like them but i found them a bit of a distraction, plus when you get too far apart you lose contact anyway.
Yeah, I get the advantage of it. But I don’t have one so it pisses me off

what do you have against rhino's?
They talk to each other over UHF for the location tracking. So if you’re out on the same channel (but not on a Rhino) then you get a squalk tone every few mins. Pisses me off

I don’t have much info for you Simmo but take a look at Shonky Maps. They are free topo maps for the older Garmins so I’d be surprised if they didn’t work with the newer ones too. I’ve used them for over 10 years and they’re great!

This has become an obsession hasn’t it? 😂
Careful or you’ll run out of time for shooting!
Bloody nice again mate

They’re fantastic!! Well done!
I’m amazed at how well the wood took the die. Did you just sit the wood in a bath of it for a time or did you have to force it in under pressure somehow?

That little chubby hoggie has a nice rack on the way

Niiiice. Again!
Do you use a jig to grind in the shape or is it all by hand/eye? I doubt I could produce anything that good by hand

Very nice work!

Nice one (again!)!
It'd be good to see a pic of your creations in a hand too, to give some perspective for the unimaginative (like me) if possible?

Wow! Great looking work!

Noice! If my CYA jacket ever wears out (unlikely) I’ll jump into one of these in a heartbeat 👍

LED torches are definitely the go these days.
Unless you can afford a thermal scope. They can’t be beat!!

It is recommended that the gun safe be bolted to the floor, simply making the weight of the safe heavier leads to a risk of tampering. By loosening the safe, a thief can gain access to the back wall of the safe.
In general, yes. Basically your safe(s) need to be hard to steal and bolting them to the floor and wall usually achieves that
I’ve got three safes and one is over 150kg empty (it’s a big old thing). That one isn’t bolted down because legally I don’t have to and because since it’s a relic, I don’t want to drill holes in it. The other two definitely are.

Welcome aboard!
With shotguns it’s all about “fit”. You want to ignore brands and find the one that the sights naturally come to your eye properly when you shoulder it.
Post up the question in the shotgun section and you’ll get some more good advice 👍
