  1. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has used either of these products and what did you think of it? I,m keen to get one to increase my success rate from just whistling them. Theres usually my and my two boys so theres a good chance any fox coming in will spot one of us make a slight movement. Its gotta be a bonus having the fox not looking directly at the source of the sound as it comes in. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Darren.
  2. Thanks for all the replies, i've ordered one from an ebay store in the states. $82 delivered for a gerber with top quality steel s30v blade. All reviews rave about it so i can't wait. Its the freeman stag (1832). Cheers, darren.
  3. Hi all. I,m looking for a good fixed blade knife and just wondering if anyone can suggest a reputable dealer. Probably in the states. Deadwood knives and knifecenter.com are both good by the way if anyone else is looking. Thanks for any help. Cheers, Darren.
  4. Thanks for all the replies everyone, its appreciated. Its tricky trying to pick one model over another. Some people will swear camera A is the dogs bollocks while someone else will say its rubbish. Oh well, a bit more research I think before I lay down the cash. One thing I did notice was on one particular model a guy said it did'nt work in the cold. He gave the temp in Farenheit and when I converted it to Celcius it was -12C. At the risk of being called soft: F%@# that! I'd stop working long before it got down to -12. One possible solution to that may be to use Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries instead of alkaline. Apparently they are not affected by temperature? Feel free to keep the thread going if you have anything useful to add. Cheers, Darren.
  5. Hi all, just found this today in a catalogue, don't know much about the brand or features and wondering if it looks ok? I'd love to get one and work out the local animals habits and movements. Any feedback by anyone with a bit of knowledge of these would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Darren.
  6. I've fallen in love with Arno Bernard knives. The Quality and style seem excellent. Google it and see what you think. Good luck with whatever you choose. Cheers, Darren.
  7. Cheers Murray, Just got back from a trip today and had a look at the scope, I'm rapt with it It's going straight on the 22 ready for some more bunny busting. Thanks again mate. Cheers, Darren.
  8. Thanks Murray, I,m going away soon so hopefully Aussie post get their finger out and I can use it on the 22. I,ll get the binos off to you asap mate. Cheers, Darren.
  9. Hi all, I have a brand new pair of Redfield 7x50 binos still in the plastic shrink wrap. I want to swap them for a scope for my .22. Anyone interested? Cheers, Darren.
  10. Just to confuse you a bit more, here's a link to the torch that I got. After reading all Fenring's posts I was convinced and I love it. So do my 2 boys who got one each as well. Battery life is excellent even on constant full power and the quality is obvious. We've had some good success with them and I would recommend them. All the accessories ( Batteries, Charger, Scope mount) came from dealextreme. Good luck with whatever you choose. Cheers, Darren. http://www.illuminationgear.com/14322/26971.html
  11. Batteries fully charged? Contacts clean? Good luck with it. Darren
  12. Yeah, it turned up today, they are in Hong Kong.
  13. Hi Firefox, If you're thinking about getting a good torch have a look in the rabbit and fox hunting forums at some of fenrings posts. Also, someone else did a really thorough comparison between the Eagletac and the Wolfeyes that is well worth reading. I think they were both posted around the start of this year or late last year. I was convinced, my Eagletac arrived last week and I,m waiting for the batteries, charger and mount to turn up from a mob in the U.S. called dealextreme. All up about $70 delivered. Cheers, Darren.
