bob Posted September 16, 2006 Report Share Posted September 16, 2006 Just thought you all might want to know, be VERY carefull when buying a tracking setup as there are strict Australian rules as to what is legal. Ask the seller if they carry the "C" tick on them as these are the ONLY ones that are legal, as an example, the ONLY legal collar that comes from USA is the wildlife one. If someone tells you they can "import" them for you, ask them if they are a registered radio gear importer, could be cash going down the drain so be carefull. No Bull Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 richy 253 As a distributor of tracking systems, other than me the only other legal systems I am aware of are: Titley Electronics - their own design systems Sir Track - NZ Government Wildlife system (largely US components) Bio-Telemtry - S.A. based company selling a police radio scanner & collars Dogmaster Trainers - Tracker distributor Wildlife materials - not sure who is selling it now As to prices, only a few of us seem open enough to post our prices...so you will have to call them.
