verminator Posted November 17, 2013 Report Share Posted November 17, 2013 gday everyone !, ive just brought myself a garmin gps60 and im trying to download the shonky maps onto it.ive dowloaded the garmin basecamp program and dowloaded the shonky maps program but cant seem to work out how to get the maps onto my gps ?any help would be grately appreciated !thanks Pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Duncs Posted November 17, 2013 Report Share Posted November 17, 2013 It's been a long time since I did it but I'm pretty sure that you need a memory card and the Garmin cable to load them. Ie you put the card in the GPS, connect the cable and then follow the instructions on the Shonky website. Is that what you've been doing? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

verminator Posted November 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 18, 2013 gday guys thanks for the replys , i managed to download the maps ! my unit is a garmin gpsmap60 so it doesnt have a sd slot so you have to download through computer. this is how i did it :1. dowloaded garmin base camp program2. downloaded the shonky topo maps3. downloaded garmin mapsource mapsource is the program i used to transfer the maps(all downloads were free)thanks pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure where to find them. Sorry guys I'm an idiot just googled shonky maps on the off chance and guess what.
