4X4, Motocross, camping, fishing & mountineering is where i spend all of my time.......so natural progression was to hunt! Look to be efficent long range stalker of Deer, goat& pig.

Just finished the mountian of paper work to get started... r-lic ETC. Just got Weatherby 308, & CZ .22lr so should have the right tools for the job... or so ive been told.

Cat fox and Rabbit on a m8ts farm.

Look forward to getting out to areas Ive been riding for years and slowing down.......lol

The living off the land aspect intrests me also...so few aboriginal guied trips in the NT are on the cards.

Will do few guided trips in the first couple of months ( or what the pocket allows ) for deer. But will propably self guided for pig.

Ive been shooting alot at Stmarys SSAA to get a feel, but know it completely different when somethings on the run and you have to take in ALL VARIABLES.... this will take parctise and patients.

Spending a couple of weeks in the bush....... what could be better ?????

NSW is vast and beautiful...... get out there....

SAFE HUNTING

Hi All,

My name's Glen. I'm an ex pistol & military rifle shooter. I want to get back into hunting because punching holes in paper and knocking over steel targets got old after 18 months.

I live and work in Sydney but it drives me nuts after a month or so and I head for the hills to get away from it all for 3-7 days, usually to a mate's property just outside Cowra NSW.

I really enjoyed my hunting as a youngster - mainly .22 & shotgun. That never got old...so I'm starting it up again.

I look forward to chatting with you all.

Cheers!

GB

G'day. grew up on a farm near Tamworth (Dungowan) and now live in Orange with wife and 2 small boys. I am 30 yrs old and am looking for somewhere and/or some one to shoot with nearby. Also interested in camping and shooting with my son. (the other is to small at the momant) Only interested in sensible people who genuinly enjoy shooting, not just weekend pissups. like shooting all vermin- night or day and use .22, .222 and 410 shot gun. Does anyone wish to invite me shooting or provide details of local farmers happy for people to shoot on their property.

G'day all

New to the sport of shooting/hunting thanks to a recent trip with a relative who owns 600 acres out Bathurst way. Loved it so much and with the encouragement of a mate joined a club and now have a safe with two arms in it. It been a big 6 month waiting process but worth the wait.

Cheers

G'day All,

Love all forms of hunting from rabbits through to overseas trophy hunting. Also hunt with a bow from time to time . Also Love wildlife photography , birdwatching , fishing etc.

Been married about a year to a lady that that's happy to live on venison. Hunted Australia's Eastern states extensively , NZ a couple of times and Africa (Namibia) once.

Ran a hunting business for a few years and am the current president of Nepean Hunters Club in Western Sydney. Basically for me , life revolves around hunting.

Cheers,

Jeff B.

G'Day, Jed here from SOuth Coast of NSW. Been hunting all my life with rifles and took up pig chasing with dogs a few years ago. Been getting a few both with rifles and dogs over the last couple of months. My tally is getting up there for the winter after a slow summer/autumn start. Anyway don't want to bore you too much with the first post. Talk to you all later.

Cheers Jed and happy hunting
