I recently purchased my first rifle, a Stevens .223 Camo with a Bushnell 6-9x50 scope. I have been out twice, but would like to go out more, with experienced people, especially those that know how to skin and cape animals. Looking for a trophy......... So far hunting mostly state forest west of Sydney like Vulcan, Sunny Corner, and Mount David and a few private properties in Sofala,Marulan and Blayney. Rifles that Im hunting with are a Savage BVSS17HMR with a 3x9 leupold scope and a Browning X Bolt Hunter in .243 4x12 leupold, both rifles are fantastic and are perfect for the game ive been hunting.
