My grandpa took me over to SA for the fallow rutt back when I was 13 to shoot my first buck. Mission was successful but I got distracted with guitar and never got around to getting my guin license. Fast forward to now and I got my license and first rifle at the start of 2024. I've gone deer crazy and am enjoying hunting as much as possible. Someone posted on Facebook the news that this forum is winding up at the end of June so I thought I'd jump on and try to make some friends and read up on some hunting stories and collect some knowledge before it goes down.
