Coming from a photography back ground, mainly sports photography, It takes a lot more than just 8 frames per second to get half decent actions shot. You'll need to learn how to full control the camera out of Auto mode, something that a lot of people aren't willing to do. Personally these days you can get away with buying a high level point and shoot camera and get great action photos.

Cheers stumpy.. Any suggestion then? I also want good photos of fish and the end result of the hunt.. What sort of price are they worth?
