hi guys, ive trecked down and purchased a copy of the discoverAus one for 350.... 50 bcuks cheaper then on the wesite, and first look im pretty happy with it. ill let ya's now what i think of it in a month or 2 when i really get used to it. thanks for ya input! nelgy

hi, ive got stoney creek gear to and really rate it highly, plus ya get a 5 yr warranty on most of it. u can get it over the net from stoney creek in NZ, depending on how the $au fairs, u can save a heap of coin.

good stuff! DiscoverAus Streets & Tracks on SD is the one i think would be best , does anyone use that and what do you think? also does anyone know of a retailer that sells that kinda gear cheaper? thanks

thanks smithy, i checked the web, and couldnt locate thales in australia, but thats ok. i checked out an outdoor store this morning near home and they have the maps on SD card, but want 400 bucks for it. its "discoverAus", street and topo. has anyone heard of this, or used it, and what do u think of it? thanks nelgy

hi guys, im just wondering if anybody has used a Magellan 500 and what they think of it. My mate just got back from the good ol US of A and picked one up for me. the only problem is it doesnt have any aussie maps, does anyone know of where i can get a copy ? ive heard u can download them or something.any help would be tops! thanks
