  1. also have a look at www.candlepowerforums.com for a guide to choosing a light, you could probly get a better light cheaper online than here in aus as we mainly have nothin but ####.
  2. yes they are a bright light for an led, in fact you wont get much brighter as its a 5w luxeon bulb, but if you compare it to an incandescant bulb of around the same quality, i have a G&P Scorpian R500 rechargeable that is around the same size and cost me 120 bucks from the Hong Kong, and you can spotlight anything out to 150 meters no problems, you wont be able to do that with a led.
  3. do you want em just for work or for hunting? I have a set of zamberlan's, pricey but worth it, they have a rubber toe over the leather so it doesnt wear out etc and the whole boot is totally waterproof, they are not steel capped and are really a hunting boot only, if you want em for work, probly not what your after
  4. i second the fortrex 101, i bought it for a pig trip up nsw where we were on a large property and use it all the time when stalking and dogging, fantastic, waterproof to a couple of meters, has dings and scratches but still works everytime, can be a little bulky and catch on trees if your running around but just walking it is a great unit.
