welcome mate, the whole system has changed for us folks in WA and the story is they dont want to issue anyone anymore firearms. they will use that reason ' you already have a calibre thats to simaliar to the one your trying to license'. you have to state in detail and if possible a few reasons why you require the .308 over the .243. i usually write in detail and until i run out of space in my applications. dont back down mate. you have a genuine and logic reason there and i hope you stated this in your form. good luck man and if you give up, they win.

hi fenring, got my solarforce body, 2x 18650 batts and last arrival was the XM-L dropin. dont get me wrong, this emitter is bloody bright but has got too much flood and not enough spot. even reflecting off the barrel on the .22 and causing a glare when i dont line my eyes properly. anyway i can modify this to make it a more spot beam, like different glass lens, smooth relector etc.

ive been beating myself up all day deciding what i should and how i should do it. bullet has been bitten and ordered the L2 body with the pressure switch and 18650 extension so i can run 2x 18650 batts, last night i ordered the XML from kdomain, few days ago ordered the nylon strap with 2x 18650 batt and charger for the 6P but now been told doesnt fit. am i missing anything? im itching for all these parts to arrive so i can put this puppy together. this is gonna be one badass moded L2. who needs to whack them with powerpoints when you can burn them where they stand!!!

ooo...just ordered the xml last night. didnt realise the 18650 dont fit in the cr123 tubes. thats gonna be a bit of a problem.

checked out the kaidomain site and found this ' CREE XML T6 1000 LUMEN 3V-18V 1 MODE LED DROP IN', this is the one you talking about? being clueless about torches i ordered the 18650x2 batts and charger already. will these batts suit the xml running one 18650 or you think get the tube extension and run both or count my loses and get the cr123 rechargeables? no, turning strobe mode on a fox would be pretty uncool.

had a good look at the solarforcel2 web site and have now discovered that the l2 parts and accessories fit the surefire 6p which i already have! now fenring, you can upgrade to the 320lms xp6 cree or the sst.50 670lms and theres even a 900lms in there somewhere. whats this all about? i looked at the pro head1 and that seems to be a ripper but not sure if it will clear my scope when mounted and it really seems to suck the juice unless you buy the battery extension and have up to 4 18650 batteries running which i thought was a brilliant idea. your right mate, there so much you can do with the l2/6p all at a reasonable price. which one of the led bulbs should i upgrade to, bit overwhelmed.

hey fenring, you mentioned the solarforce L2 earlier being able to upgrade lenses and add extra batteries. does the eagletac have these upgrade options later on? between the two, which one would you pick.

had a look at the eagletac t100c2 mk2 and looks pretty impressive at half the price of the wolfeyes. just wondering with the weapons kit, what options i need on top of that as i want to use 18650 batteries. do i need to buy the batt and charger seperately and cool or neutral lens?

you boys all threw some extra spanners in the works and now i have to go and research these other brands i havent even heard of. zenon globes aint gonna give the run time im after and they have to be rechargeable lithiums , otherwise it will cost a fortune to run. price is not an issue as i believe in buy once, and buy good or buy cheap but twice. i need a light thats gonna give a good concentrated beam than a flood beam out to 120 meters if possible.
