  1. Fenring, after thinking about it, I really wasn't giving the T100C2 the credit it deserves. For my 22lr it is more than enough and is more suitable than the wf-008. It does shine up a nice area. Of the top of my head I can't recall what configuration I've got on my EagleTac. I haven't been able to compare my torches to anything but a lightforce 140/170/240 running of the car. I was thinking about the Solarforce for my .223 for a bit more range. However I did use my wf-008 on tuesday night and took 3 foxes (pics coming soon). A mate who was shooting with us was using my T100C2 on his 17hmr and took a fox and a couple rabbits. I guess it really is just a case of wanting more. Is anyone aware of a red filter that could be placed on the Solarforce? I think that would definitely be a selling point for me. I've been using those velcro straps for mounting at the moment but are there any good steel torch mounts? I find after hopping in and out of the car it moves a lot. Adam
  2. Hello, I was wondering if anyone has purchased this package and what are your opinions on them? I currently have an Ultrafire Wf-008 and an EagleTac t100c2 mark II. The Ultrafire gives a good spot at distance however the 3 mode starts to get really annoying. The EagleTac is a good quality built torch but the distance the light throws is a bit dissapointing. It has a really good spill and lights up a wide area, just not much of a spot. It would be appreciated if anyone has any advice on the Solarforce or any of the torches i already have. Thank you, Adam
  3. I've got a Buffalo River Bronze series 5 gun safe. Bought it from Roy Alexander & Sons in Maylands (9272 2205) for ~$320, I found that they were the cheapest. You've managed to fit 5 guns in it? That must be a tight squeeze. I've got 2 in mine (angled) and could only imagine fitting another 1. Regarding Bunnings - from what i've seen they stock the Sontax brand of safes. The quality of there safes are no different to there tools.
  4. Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me some information or advice about getting in contact people who go shooting. Also, whats the best way to get in contact with people who are happy for shooters to shoot on their property. I'm not searching for a property letter, I've recently acquired my firearms licence (~4months) but havent had the chance to get experience shooting outdoors. Thankyou, Adam.
  5. Hello, From Perth here. I'm fairly new to shooting, definately something I want to get more involved with. Just picked up a Weatherby Vanguard in .223 and a CZ 452 Varmint in .22. Just had to go through the whole original licence application. It took me a full 31 days from whem i submitted my application at Australia Post till i got my licence in the mail. I had them send out the letter to install the safe around day 20. I was fairly pleased with the service compared to stories i have heard. Don't mind to play around with the .22 at the range but hunting is more the field i'd like to get into.
