  1. I'm here working OT in prob the biggest toolroom in Australia and i didn't think of making it my self. DOH!! I've already started cutting out the steel for it. There are some good ideas here. I don't suppose anyone has a diagram of the holes to mount the handle that they could upload?? Sparky shop here is closed so i am going to use square tube, the inside piece is 25mm, it slides inside a piece of 30mm.
  2. Here is another that i have found, it looks ok. But they all seem to take up alot of room. Do you have any pix Rick? Topspot Remote Handle Adaptor
  3. Jock, how do you go when you are shooting out the window, does it get in the way??And can you give me an approx price..Santa..LOL ?? Smithy, when you buy the bar suction cup thingy and remote handle, do you also have to buy the swivel attachment to mount it on the bar?? Robbo, i change my cars over fairly often so im not real keen on putting a hole in the roof, might haveto one day. Just a bit chicken to do it myself.
  4. Has anyone used one of the Lightforce temp spotlight mounts. The one with the suction attachments. Are they any good, and what length handle would you recomend?? Thanks.

    Swags

I went out with a group of hound hunters over the long weekend, these guys spend many months of the year out in the bush. i slept in a swag for the first time, we all had our swags under big tarps stretched between a couple of trees. It rained one night and noone got wet. Mine is a king single and and its easy to just unroll it and get in.
  6. Was more worried about the UV brighteners and stuff added to most commercial washing powders. They reckon it makes you glow in the eyes of a deer? Not really worried about scent.
  7. Were do you buy it from?? Safeway? Want it to wash camo's with.
  8. I'm looking for a set for hunting with, i don't want to pay the earth for them. Can anybody recomend a good budget set and a good magnification for sambar hunting. Thanks
  9. Hey Nitro, do you have a store? Jack
  10. Im thinking of buying one, they sound like a good piece of gear. I want to be able to use it while hunting and in the car. Any opinons?
  11. I might try the gaiters and jacket first, as when fox shooting we are always climbing fences, so it would be easy to rip the crotch out of water proof pants. Thanks for the replies.
  12. I looking for a set of waterproof hunting gear, that doesn't cost the earth and is reasonably hard wearing. Any sugestions?
  13. Has anyone had it done by a panel beater? Just wondering cost?
  14. I hear that the blazalight handles are the go with a 170 lightforce light mounted on top.
