I have not noticed a recent thread on game cameras. I am looking at going halves with a mate and would love some feedback on what's a good camera for under approx. $600 AUD. Don't know much about them but i'm thinking the following is important. Note: Only to be used for gathering info for hunting mainly in SF"s and a bit on private property. 1. Ease of use 2. Battery life 3. Picture quality is not too important 4. Must have IR night mode. 5. Good range day and night. Any personal experience is much appreciated. Regards Jlow

Got family going shopping in Kuala Lumpur this week and wondering if anyone has had experience with buying Binnoculars (not crap ones) and range finder from over there. Also considering a GPS. Any thoughts??? Cheers Jlow

I often use silicon putty which you can buy from most chemists. It costs about $7.00 for 6 of and you can reuse them. They seal very well and cut out the most noise out of any plug i've tried. Jlow
