  1. Hey there The lightforce stuff is awesome! I have a 170, and it is plenty good enough for spotting anything so I could imagine the 240 would be even better. I got my spotty from Opposite Lock, they have a great range of Lightforce products - and their prices aren't too bad either. Not sure if there is an outlet new Lithgow though... Cheers mate Jays

  3. I have been using a predator whistle to try and entice wild dogs out in the open....haven't had a whole lot of luck recently. It gets them howling and barking but doesn't seem to excite them enough to drag them out of the bush. An idea my buddy and I had was to try and use a dog training whistle to get these wild doggies attention. I know with domestic dogs regardless of their level of training the dog whistles get them running over to the source of the sound pretty well. Do you think this principle would work on wild dogs, or are we just barking up the wrong tree Any input would be appreciated Cheers
  4. Hey there Not sure about the use of spotties for deer - kind of illegal in VIC, but the Opposite Lock stores sell a whole range of light force brand spotlights which are excellent - you can even get adapters for them to whack on your rifle scope. The coloured lenses are; Yellow - Helps contrast things in damp weather Green - Good for spotting animals with sensative eyes Red - Good for spotting shy animals Blue - Helps contract in raining or foggy weather Hopefully that helps. Cheers Jays
  5. G'day fellow Hunters! Name: Jayson Location: Gold Coast Queesland Age: 30 Gender: Male I hunt all kinds of ferals - pigs, goats, cats, dogs, foxes and rabbits. Have bagged some deer too but rather shoot the real feral stuff. Normally travel to VIC for foxes and deer and around NSW for Goats etc. Am having some issues finding some properties around QLD for pigs at the moment, so if you are landowner who wants to cull some ferals drop me a line Boom Boom sticks in the cabinet at the moment include 22 Magnum, 270 Ruger and Lee Enfield 303 - the arsenal is growing all the time! Hope to hear from other keen hunters soon. Cheers
