  1. I like the garmins. We have a older GPS 12 whichs I use out in the bush, a GPSMAP 76 whiched used to be in a plane but but now is a handheld, IMO, thats the best value for money I think. They are about $300 if you know where to look. Ive used the etrex but dont like it that much, im used to the bigger screnes of the others and also the erganomics, I think the bigger ones are easier to use as the have bigger buttons, especially when using gloves. Just my 0.02c worth mate.
  2. G'day all. Newbie here from Two Rocks, about 1 hour north of Perth. Ive been shooting for about 8 years, and I got my firearms licence this year. Im currently 18 and a student at ECU. Havent done any hunting as yet but am interested. Ive got 2 .22LRs, one of which is a combo rifle/shotgun and two .177 air rifles. I currently shoot up at the Bindoon Rifle Club using Omark .308s and its good fun to shoot out to 900yds. Looking forward to seeing what you guys ahve to say and learning some too. Seeya.
