Knife has to be the oldest tool man has carried, used to perform many different tasks for thousands of years. Everything from killing to skinning and butchering preparing food, performing emergency life saving surgery, defending himself against predators….. this is but a few important tasks. I can think of no other tool that will replace a knife ever. If I must walk the earth with nothing else but a knife or a gun my choice will be a knife.
