  1. Hey Matt, I know the area ok. The Harrow Ball. Went to it a few years back. Mum and Dad live at Casterton which isn't too far from edenhope. Also dated a girl from near Harrow a while back. I also lived in Hamilton for a year and still have family there too. Some good hunting down that way. Im up here in West Wyalong where the land is mostly flat and dry, not like the rolling hills of around harrow.
  2. You would have to join two of them together to get them big enough, then put the condiut over it! Yea hahhh.
  3. Take you pick! These are the ones we get through work
  4. We have got a few places in town where we get our aerials etc from for our uhf's. The local telecommunition shop has a good range and also the auto-sparky sells them too. We only use GME aerials and have found them to be really good. Never had any trouble with any of them, whether it be the ones we fit to the tractors at work and in the farm utes too!
  5. Generally Narva are ok but on the cheaper end of the lights. They do have more expensive lights that are alot better then the ones you buy as a kit for say $150. They range up to $400-$600 for kits, much like the Hella driving light range. Lightforce would in my opinion be better lights but you do get what you pay for. But if money is not really a problem, then I would certainly look into getting the Hella Xenon range. $500 per light and upwards but very nice, sturdy and most of all bloody bright!
  6. I got a two litre camelback replica off ebay for $25 INC postage as I used to do a lot enduro's on my motorbike and use it now when walking. Not only does it hold 2 ltrs of wateer, it has a nice large compartment that I use to put my firstaid kit, a poncho and lunch. It has two more compartments that you can store smaller items like your mobile, keys, wallet etc in. No signs of wear and tear, the brand is high sierra. thatd be my recommendation.
  7. Yours is an aluminium doskocil case? What sort of padding does it have in it? The foam egg carton type? Any whats the rest of the case eg. locking mechanism like?
  8. That sounds like the way I might go. Has anyone seen or heard about the doskocil rifle cases? They look ok. Just wanted to know if anyone has used them?
  9. I have been looking at buying a gun case as a gift for my father-in-law for a while. He has a .222 with scope, nothing special but I am so damn tired of him saying that it "got bumped in the ute" (he is afterall a farmer) and it not shooting straight. The scope he has got on it is cheap and nasty, but seems to work ok as long as it's not bumped in anyway. I figure getting him a case may solve his and my problems, along with looking after the rifle itself! Anyone got any info on whats good, bad or indifferent when it comes to choosing a gun case, and don't forget, it's not a $20,000 gun we are storing here, just something to stop the gun and scope getting bumped around to much when put in the ute.
