my dad taught my mum how to stick a pig. she's stuck hundreds of 'em. don't let anyone put you off the idea........ but do be safe about it. there are no doubt a few on here who have horror stories of run-ins with angry hogs. my old man also taught myself and another young fella how to do it. we started on suckers and worked our way up. i agree with the suggestion of finding a dogger with a good rep and tagging along with them. see how it's done and learn to do it the right way. it is exhilarating and you will want to do it again and again. good luck

hi all. name: Adam live: Cairns some of my earliest memories are of being out with mum and dad hunting, mostly pigs using dogs and shooting rabbits for meat. fired my first rifle at about age 8. used to go a lot as a teenager. has been about 15 years now since i last went. currently applying for my gun licence again and looking to get back into the pigs. seems like it's all changed a bit since i was last into it but hoping to get back up to speed fairly quickly. cheers ads
