Nackers Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 Yeah, that's silly - the XR-E and XP-G are different animals altogether. The XP-G can have higher output but is floodier. And it doesn't work anywhere near as well with as aspheric lens - just won't choke down to as tight and bright a spot. They offered to send the two XRE once they are back in stock and pay a difference of $8 each to keep the XPG's. I think I will do that but get them to send over only one XRE so I only have to pay $8.
