tinyted
Ive done a quick search on this topic & cannot find one. I getting intereseted in them for my pig studys, if any body has one, id like to know how they work. 1. Are they watherproof. 2. Battery lastability. 3. Dark nights or moonlit nights, better or worse? 4. Film lenghts, video quality. 5. How sensitive are they to movement. ie, How far away does an animal have to be before it stops recording. 6. What is the recorded viewable distance you can see. 7. Are they worth buying & how much are they?
mickgibbo
Mine is water proof Battery Life 3 months on 6 C batteries Doesnt matter what moonlight you have, obviously if its full and bright it will be better Can take as many shots or as little as each motion is tripped Sensetivity is good, have caught rats and birds on mine 60ft it says which is easy for day night I would say 40ft (maybe a little more) They are great fun and are good to give you insite to your spot. Mine is a Reconyx. Mine was $1000 quite a while back, if you want a quality one without a flash (one thats uses IR) you will be spending $300 up.
