Which Types Of Synthetic Clothing Material?
cameronpatrol replied to Fireman_DJ's topic in Boots, Clothing and Backpacks
Ive got the Stoney creek winter top and pants. theyve coped a fair old flogging. and still are good as gold. they are the only clothing that come with a 5 year warranty on rips, bullet holes, babred wire etc. nice and warm. the air vents in the legs are great and ACTUALY work if hot unzip them and you feel the cool air straight away. the top has a nice big pocket for puttig bits and pieces. in the cold im pretty happy to just wear a beater undernieth the shirt and thats it. pants by them selves. -

I picked up some sythetic thermals from Rays out doors 40 or 50 bucks for long sleeve shirt and long pants. brand Wild Country. they dry really fast when wet. but also when wet they are still warm. -

Scope And Binos Fogging Up
cameronpatrol replied to cameronpatrol's topic in Binoculars, Spotting scopes and Rangefinders
Thats what it thought Remebered from primary school Id left the scope caps off the whole time it must have been because the rifle was in a case and held temp. the binos sat in my day pack or on the back seat in the car. I think the scope may have needed to warm up to the outside temp. Ill give the spray a go but i'll do as you said as well just to be sure. i'll leave em out while i muck around camp and stock the day pack etc. thanks for the tip. Been good hows bout you? been a while -

Binos Serviced?
cameronpatrol replied to Whistler's topic in Binoculars, Spotting scopes and Rangefinders
Maybe ask your LGS They might send them to the dealer. is there anything wrong with them? I think as soon as they pull them apart they mot need to be re-charged with that gas that stops them fogging on the inside etc. not sure how much they would charge. unless they are broken or somthings wrong i probably wouldnt worry about it. just a good clean. and go over the lenses with some lense cleaner and anti fog spray. -

cameronpatrol replied to cameronpatrol's topic in Binoculars, Spotting scopes and Rangefinders
This stuff thats on order aparently i think is a cleaner and anti fog. I guess I'll see if it works when i got out next. or I might have a go with them at night when its cold and see how they go with fogging up. it might not clean that well and be more de fogger if that the case i'll get some cleaner clean then de fog and touch wood i wont have any more dramas with them.
