After reading this entire thread again and exploring the dome type swags, I'm reconsidering my tent options again. I like the kulkyne big boy. It's really grabbed my attention, but its due late May. Too long to wait damn it.

More importantly, how do u compare sleeping in tent vs swag?

Does it exist and who sells it?

I just went through this process as well. After a lot of thought, I've decided to go for a self inflating mattress, self inflating pillow and tent, as well as a decent sleeping bag. I know it's not the answer you were looking for, just throwing another option at you if you haven't already thought about it - apologies if you have. I can never get a good nights sleep in a swag, guys with this setup swear by it and setup time will surprise you. Hi guys, my name is John and I live in Vic. I am new shooter. Still waiting on my PTA and have 3 x CZ rimfires on order. 2 x .22LR's and 1 x .17HMR. Can't wait to pick them up! I enjoy target shooting(have been to the Springvale range a few times with friends) and would like to start hunting rabbits for a feed. Then deer, pigs, etc, etc.
