hi guys this my input and only my opinion majority of people enquire about the wildlife gear,it is a good unit. but why is it a good unit??, i believe that all the higher priced ones are virtually equal, it comes down to experience with using them and how well you know your dogs. i have been talking to a fella in nth qld who isin the market for a set ,he was keen to buy one brand because of its capability but opted for another brand because of its robust material. it all comes down to what suits you best. wildlife has the strength and durability contact pro has the range being a UHF frequancy that others don't i also believe that alot of brands have been labled wrongly simply because the buyer didn't know or take the time to learn how to use the unit thats my two bob geta'

depending on where your hunting i would look at a uniden with open scan(o's) and group scan(g's) they can be of some benefit on the open country geta'

g'day to all members i hunt pigs with dogs have done since i was 15,generally hunt the mountains around bathurst used to hunt out west alot when younger but kids and mortgage slowed that up live in the penrith area of sydney hope to move to qld in the next few years getadog

this is the neck collars i make but still haven't attempted the full plate don't know how the studs would hold out (with so much movement)on the full size

got the material ,got the pattern ,got the buckles and straps---- then the machine broke ,so i never got around to making one i guess try a pattern on card board or heavy paper first, see how ya go, post up the end result if u make one up geta'
