I'm in the same boat as you. Just started to look around, checkout this link, Cleaver firearms are getting some of these real soon. I've organised a demo on one.

I bought mine Oct 07, haven't kept a record of how many hours use but I shoot at least 1 or 2 times a week & still on my first set of batteries. I do turn them off during c\fires.

Yeah Gryphon, That's the model I mentioned in post #7. I only bought mine because a couple of blokes i shoot with use them & let me have a test run. Had to wait a while for them to pop up for the cheap money thou.

I bought a pair of the Peltor tactical S-6 electronic ear muff's about 6 months ago on e-bay for $80 posted. There the slimline type so not bulky at all. They have had quite a workout in that time with no problems at all. I did go & buy a pair of the Peltor H10B bulky ear muffs for when I bench next to a mate who shots a 338 Lapua with a muzzle brake. For normal situations the S-6 pair do the job fine.

Hi All,
Have enjoyed hunting most feral animals at one time or another. Interested in the reloading side of things(rifle).
Shoot a bit of Metallic silouette for practice between hunting opportunities.
