thats odd the AT's(olivers) that i had lasted 6months of boilermaking.....and then i only got new boots because a large piston landed on my foot putting a hole in the leather!!
or if you want a cheaper work like boot then go for Oliver AT's or Bowens
i had the 200mm lace ups at the bottom! about $135 my last pair

well all my years of bush walking Tasmania have made me realise THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS WATER PROOF BOOTS!
its better to get boots that fit very well.....im also looking for new boots
something like these i think for me!

well to be honest i dont think of water proof boots as more water repelling boots
why because all those lovely bush walks in tassie made me belive this....
YOUR FEET WILL GET WET NO MATTER WHAT!!
so just make sure your boots and socks are very comfy so it wont matter!!
i have Garmont walking boots they are the low type very good for hot rocky stuff
not great for wet but ive had them for 2years now and im a fatC*NT so they get a caining
brama walking boots high type great for all terrain but a bit hot not bad on the bike
+1 on the steel blues for work type boots

lol to bloody true almost ALL the spot lighters i know only go in the ute.........almost all of my hunting was on foot
i only got in to ute spotlighting by going with other peaple......and found how easy it is
well i have the bushnell range finder
http://www.bushnell.com/products/rangefind...ecs/20-1315.cfm
its not a scope as you are talking about.........
i got mine just to find out if the ranges i was shooting wallabys and bunnys was what i thought it was
theres no way i would spend the $$$$$$$$$$$ on a range finding scope!!
is it cheating...........no..........but then i have a good idear off what i can and cant do!
bunnys in the head at 200M with my .223
deer up to 300M with my 7mm rm
i shoot no further than 100M with my .17 MACH2
but this is always up to the individual.............
