You can buy the head unit only (called a Pro 1 ) and fit that to a Solarforce L2 body, and run one or two 18650 batteries, if you have the extension tube. I have four L2's lying around - don't really need anything bigger than what I already have - though I've got an aspheric lens for one of the L2's coming and it will convert it to a long range pinbeam thrower.
